Expert Selection
We hand-select each tree, shrub, and perennial from trusted growers based on your soil, light exposure, drainage, and design goals—prioritizing plant health, structure, and long-term performance. -
Proper Hole Preparation
We dig planting holes 2–3 times wider than the root ball to encourage lateral root growth, and match the planting depth precisely to prevent suffocation or exposure. -
Root Conditioning
Before planting, we inspect and correct root systems—removing girdled roots and loosening compacted soil to avoid transplant shock and ensure healthy establishment. -
Soil Conditioning & Amendments
We backfill with a blend of native soil and compost or conditioners specific to each plant’s needs, enhancing drainage and nutrient availability. -
Correct Mulching
Mulch is applied at the ideal depth (2–3") and never piled against the trunk or crown—a common mistake that leads to rot, disease, and insect problems. -
Professional Staking (When Necessary)
Trees are staked only when wind exposure or root instability requires it—never as a default. We ensure all staking is temporary, non-damaging, and installed correctly. -
Watering & Establishment Plan
We provide a clear, customized watering schedule and maintenance recommendations to help ensure long-term plant health. Optional follow-up maintenance is also available.
